currently reading Tempest in Time
by Eugenia Riley
this is a story about two women... kaya this book is two story in one. They got switched on the day they were supposed to get married to a man they both didn't like but because of honor and a good merger, they decided to go with it.
missy was rebelious woman who lived during the 1990's (the book was published that time). while melissa was a shy belle who lived during the 1940's. both women were a look-a-like... that one would thought that they were twins, only they were born hundred years apart and that missy is five years older than melissa.
both wedding was supposed to be held on Feb 29 but different year... and that both year is a leap year... could that be the reason for that mysterious exchange and time travel after both of them fell down the stairs on their wedding day? or is it because of the stone amulet that was originally came from egypt whom melissa's father believed has a magical power?
ang ganda nito mga kapatid... gawa ko lang ung teaser... hehehe...
isipin nyo si missy... sinabihan ni fabian (who lived in the 1940's) to drop dead... hehehe

The Heir by Catherine Coulter
Dear Reader:
The Heir first appeared as Lord Deverill's Heir all the way back in 1980. I have extensively rewritten this novel, giving it greater scope and depth, but most important are the changes in all the characters. They are now richer and fuller, brimming with life and passion.
Justin Deverill, the new Earl of Strafford, is a military man who's strong, shrewd, stubborn and very possibly one of the most handsome men ever to become an earl. As for his cousin, Arabella, whom he must wed or gain nothing but an empty title, she is more like him than either of them would like to admit. Faced with an order from her father's will to marry this man, she rebels. Since her father is dead, she has no other target except the new earl. However, in him, Arabella meets her match.
These two flamboyant people do wed, despite the fact that Justin believes she has betrayed him before their wedding, and thus, married or not, there is hell to pay.
Who does the earl believe is his wife's lover? There is only one snake in the garden, the young and charming Comte de Trecassis, a relative visiting from France. The earl wants to kill him, but he holds off because he knows the young man came for a reason. The earl wants him to under his eye until he figures out why. He knows he is up to no good; he just doesn't know what the no good is.
Justin and Arabella set off fireworks, both in their anger and in their passion. I hope you enjoy The Heir

Once an Angel by Teresa Medeiros
Orphaned at 11 in 1865 when her father dies on an island off New Zealand where he has gone to search for gold, Emily Claire Scarborough is, at 18, bent on revenge. She has survived the last seven years at the Foxworth Seminary for Young Ladies in London, learning to fend for herself without benefit of a steady allowance from her absentee guardian. Bitterness and longing mingle in Em's heart, and sustain her until she is summarily sent packing by the school's surly mistress to New Zealand, in search of the man responsible for her miserable existence all those years. Washing up on the beach like so much driftwood, Em soon finds that serendipity has dumped her practically into the lap of her errant guardian, a dark, swarthy Robinson Crusoe-type who has spurned London society. What ensues is an idyllic interlude in a beautiful, untamed paradise, shattered when both heroine and hero are rudely awakened by the arrival of reality and the outside world. Though laced with evocative descriptions of the exotic wilderness, this romance ultimately sours, beleaguered with a plot whose logic is as farflung as New Zealand is from London.

Carpathian Series by Christine Feehan
Dark Peril
Dominic, of the Dragonseeker lineage—one of the most powerful of the Carpathian lines—is desperate to go to the very heart of the enemy camp and learn their plans. There’s only one way to do so: ingest the parasitic blood of a vampire. He knows that it is a mission from which there is no return. With little time before the blood takes effect, he’ll get the information he needs, relay it to the leader of the Carpathians, and go out fighting. There is no more honorable way to end his life.
Solange Sangria is one of the last of the jaguar people, a royal pureblood, a dying species that cannot recover from bad decisions made over hundreds of years. She has long been alone, fighting to save the remaining shapeshifters from the hands of Brodrick the Terrible: her own father, who slaughtered her family and everyone she loved. Wounded and weary, she plans one last battle, hoping to stop the man who has made an alliance with the vampires, accepting that she will not come out alive.
They are two warriors who have lived their lives alone. Now, at the end of their time, they find each other—an obstacle neither can hope to ignore.

Carpathian Novel / Dark Series by Christine Feehan
Book 20: Dark Slayer
A rumor has persisted in the vampire world of a dark slayer—a woman—who travels with a wolf pack and who destroys any vampire who crosses her path. Mysterious, elusive and seemingly impossible to kill, she is the one hunter who strikes terror into the hearts of the undead.
She is Ivory Malinov. Her only brethren, the wolves. Long ago betrayed by her people, abandoned by her family, and cast out by everyone she held dear, Ivory has lived a century without companionship or love. She has sustained her sanity by the habit of the hunt and the custom of the feeding. Until the night she picks up the scent of a man, her unexpected salvation. Her lifemate. The curse of all Carpathian women.
He is Razvan. Branded a criminal, detested and feared, he is a dragonseeker borne of one of the greatest Carpathian lineages, only to be raised as its most despised—and captive—enemy. Fleeing from his lifetime of imprisonment, Razvan now seeks the dawn to end his terrible existence. Instead he has found his deliverance in the Dark Slayer.
In spirit, in flesh and blood, in love, and in war, Ivory and Razvan are made for each other. For as long as they dare to live.

may twist ito kasi hindi lang siya inspirational story... meron pa siyang ghost na nagpapakita sa 3 magkapatid... ung father nila na si Ray Quinn

Chesapeake Blue by Nora Roberts
Seth Quinn is finally home.
It's been a long journey. After a harrowing boyhood with his drug-addicted mother, he'd been taken in by the Quinn family, growing up with three older brothers who'd watched over him with love.
Now a grown man returning from Europe as a successful painter, Seth is settling down on Maryland's Eastern Shore, surrounded once again by Cam, Ethan, and Phil, their wives and children, all the blessed chaos of the extended Quinn clan. Finally, he's back in the little blue-and-white house where there's always a boat at the dock, a rocker on the porch, and a dog in the yard.
Still, a lot has changed in St. Christopher since he's been gone-and the most intriguing change of all is the presence of Dru Whitcomb Banks. A city girl who's opened a florist shop in this seaside town, she craves independence and the challenge of establishing herself without the influence of her wealthy connections. In Seth, she sees another kind of challenge-a challenge that she can't resist.
But storms are brewing that are about to put their relationship to the test. Dru's past has made her sensitive to deception-and slow to trust. And Seth's past has made him a target of blackmail-as a secret he's kept hidden for years threatens to explode, destroying his new life and his new love. . . .

Angelology by Danielle Trussoni
A thrilling epic about an ancient clash reignited in our time- between a hidden society and heaven's darkest creatures
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bore children to them.
Genesis 6:5
Sister Evangeline was just a girl when her father entrusted her to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in upstate New York. Now, at twenty-three, her discovery of a 1943 letter from the famous philanthropist Abigail Rockefeller to the late mother superior of Saint Rose Convent plunges Evangeline into a secret history that stretches back a thousand years: an ancient conflict between the Society of Angelologists and the monstrously beautiful descendants of angels and humans, the Nephilim.
For the secrets these letters guard are desperately coveted by the once-powerful Nephilim, who aim to perpetuate war, subvert the good in humanity, and dominate mankind. Generations of angelologists have devoted their lives to stopping them, and their shared mission, which Evangeline has long been destined to join, reaches from her bucolic abbey on the Hudson to the apex of insular wealth in New York, to the Montparnasse cemetery in Paris and the mountains of Bulgaria.
Rich in history, full of mesmerizing characters, and wondrously conceived, Angelology blends biblical lore, the myth of Orpheus and the Miltonic visions of Paradise Lost into a riveting tale of ordinary people engaged in a battle that will determine the fate of the world.
